(head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; Tetsuya Funabashi, President) supports the activities of the General Incorporated Association Japan Wind Academy (Visiting Professor Yoshihisa Sato of Fukushima University, Representative Director) as its first cosponsor. The Japan Wind Academy will commence its online course, the Offshore Wind Human Resource Development Project "Japan Wind Academy" (hereinafter referred to as "the Academy"), on December 1, 2024.
As part of our 2030 Vision, スポーツ賭け is committed to achieving carbon neutrality, to this end, we are actively involved in providing the necessary power lines and civil engineering work for the construction of wind power plants. We believe that the development of human resources is essential for the widespread adoption of wind power generation, therefore, we are supporting the Japan Wind Academy, which is dedicated to the Offshore Wind Human Resource Development Project, as its first cosponsor. Through this online course, we aim to inspire the younger generation to take an interest in wind power generation and support the development of qualified professionals in this field. The Academy has already been well-received during its pre-opening phase, which began in October 2024 for select schools.
スポーツ賭け was established to provide free courses to students at universities (engineering), technical colleges, and high schools across the country, these courses aim to help students obtain the nationally required qualification of "Chief Electrical Engineer (Denkensanshu)" for electrical work and operation at wind power plants. After obtaining the Denkensanshu qualification, students can gain practical experience at related companies and eventually achieve the "Denkennishu" certification through a career advancement system, the Academy also facilitates connections with companies to support this career advancement.
